Temperature Gauge Needle Jumps

Hello... So I just brought a 2005 chevy impala and
it was driving smooth... Today tho I noticed my
temperature gauge fluctuating as I was driving and
pretty much got stuck at the bottom... It don't seem
to be over heating tho... It still drives fine and
everything so I'm not sure what is wrong...
