I have a 2002 Rav4. I've recently experienced what so any others have. A bad ECM and tranny issues. I've had 3 different ECMs installed and the car only cranks but doesn't start. I plug the old one back in and the car will start. Why does the new ECM not let the car start? Could it be the remote start feature? Help please..

Maybe the new ECM needs to be flashed to your cars specs.
