where is the cabin light sensor located for 2005 equinox

cabin light does not work all the time with the passenger door, need to know
how to get to the on/off sensor for the passenger door

I believe it is built into the door latch assembly. I had this issue on a different Chevy slightly older and found it was there. I was able to lube it with wd-40 and it started working again.
