is my clutch bad, throw out baring, and any simple fix

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

with motor off it shifts into each gear fine with and with out the clutch.
with motor on it wont shift into any gear even with clutch all the way down
the clutch seams to be working like it should, maybe just not enough?
do i need to have the tranny dropped to fix?

Sounds like it could just be a slave cylinder issue. I would check fluid level to clutch slave cylinder. Then try bleeding the slave cylinder. Watch its motion it should fully extend when church pedal is depressed. If it not fully extenting even after bleeding I would replace it. Not that hard of a task.

thanks for the response. i checked slave cylinder fluid, it was fine. also bled the slave cylinder, was told it was working fine. any other ideas?
