Battery and Brake indicator light on Instrument panel light up shortly after starting, and go off then back on until the car warms up then they stay on until the car has been sitting for 6-7 hours.   What does this mean?

take alternator to a parts house and get it bench tested and top offf the brake fluid

You do not have to remove alternator from vehicle to have it tested it can be done right on the vehicle as long as the vehicle is running.

I went to AutoZone and had them test the alternator and starter. They said both were good. However, neither one was good. The starter was for an automatic and the alternator was shorting out. Replaced both and the car issue of that time was resolved.
