Asked by Keith Apr 29, 2014 at 10:41 AM about the 2003 Toyota Matrix XR

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was told that the bushing is completely worn out and that I need to replace the entire
lower control arm. Just wanting to know if any once knows if it is a pretty simple task or
not.

Also may need a pallet full of Break-Away lol! The suspension parts since they support vehicle weight and are exposed to the elements, the bolts are almost always frozen/corroded/rusted together and require quite a bit of strength to loosen. Heat will help from a torch. Be carefull not to break any bolts.
