Oil light on. Car stalls out.

Checked the oil it is fine.  Oil light stays on and the car stalls out.  Timing belt changed at 89,. Now has 92,.

Usually on cars, if oil light is yellow = oil level low if oil light is red = low oil pressure. Does it runs well before stalling out?

the oil light might just need to be reset, not necessarily related to the stalling. as for the stalling, could be the gas you are using... if you just got the timing belt changed out recentlly, did you swap the plugs, air filter, etc.. etc.. as well, or just the belt? are you throwing any check engine light up when it stalls?

I'd recommend having an oil pressure test performed to confirm whether or not the oil pressure is ok or not. If it tests ok then the tech would normally do some testing on wiring/sensor and likely put a new sensor in.
