question i'm still having the same problem my car is still popping out of fourth gear and now I have to hold it down in the fourth gear the whole time this is the third time my car has been in the shop first time they fix the shifter cables second time they fix the shifter fork and now they can't figure out what else it could be in they've had my at least a month and a half now

The only way this can be fixed,is rebuild tranny,or replace it,it is the shifter sancronizer,s inside the tranny that is doing this,anything done outside will not fix the problem.
