Key won't turn

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My uncle tried to get my car in neutral
without my key now my ignition is locked.
How do I unlock it or why is it locked.

might have to do with steering wheel. Put key in, turn steering wheel hard to either right or left (whichever works), should unlock ignition and try turning key now. Hope that helps

Also he had the gear shit took apart andni out it back together. Is there some security code or combo that could be involved

even with the key on the brake still has to be pressed to go into gear , there's probably a solenoid that allows these things to operate ,take his dirty socks , fold them up and put them back in his dresser , HA ! !
