Someone has an ad about an 2001 toyota corolla that says the camsensor is needed and that it effects the acceleration by not going sometimes. Is this something expensive to fix?
If it wasn't expensive the owner would have fixed it. The sensor itself could be the issue, but how does the owner know? Are they a mechanic? Probably more than a sensor if you ask me. I would pass, or tell the seller you want your mechanic to inspect first before purchasing to make sure.
Tom's 100% right, beware of sellers that claim their car only needs a simple fix, yet somehow they can't be bothered to make the fix and would rather sell it for a huge loss.
