Carr making tapping sound

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Tapping sound coming from behind the dash car wony
start but if i turn the key noise stops or if i hit the brake
noise stops as soon as i let go noise continues car has
no power power locks wont work nothing also tried
jumping the battery no luck

Have you checked the battery voltage and cleaned the battery terminals and the connection at the starter. Sounds like low voltage to me.
