Car starts cold

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am working on a family members car and it starts and
runs fine but after you drive it for a few minutes and shut it
off it won't start again sometimes while your driving if you
come to a stop it dies and won't start until you let it sit for a
while (1 to 2 hours). I checked the fuel side I have fuel at
the fuel rail even changed fuel filter. Not sure. Any
suggestions?
