does the motor of 1990 corolla fit the 1994 corolla

Asked by yulu Dec 23, 2013 at 01:17 AM about the 1994 Toyota Corolla DX

Question type: General

1990 corolla 1.6l fuel injection 4A-FE TO 1994 COROLLA 1.8L 7A-FE

1 Answer

Yes. The 6th Generation (E90) Corolla 4A FE will swap in to a 7th Generation (E100) that came from factory with the 1.8 7A FE...but get EVERYTHING! from the donor car, ECU, wiring harness(es) everything. If you already have a 4A FE to install, cool... you will save money but will notice a severe reduction in performance. ... but it's a fine engine that will take you where you want to go, and that's what really matters
