There are 2 wires, blue and white, running from something on the bottom of my 93 corolla. i think they're supposed to attach to a brown and black wire that runs into the engine or something. Does anyone know what they're for?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was replacing my radiator and the wires were strapped to the fan for cable management I guess. I pulled them
apart and I don't know what they're for. The car starts fine and there's no weird lights on the dash. Is the oxygen
sensor?

Um. forgive me but how could they be strapped to the fan? Do you mean the radiator, or what? Obviously they could not be strapped to the fan itself, the picture is hard to tell. And do you mean you puled them apart and did not reassemble them? May be the fan will not come on when it's supposed to, for one thing. Help me help you by getting back with that information. Good Day.

It was tied to the fan on the radiator. And yeah I pulled the wires apart when i was taking out the radiator. The fan works fine. The wire isn't plugged into the fan.
