When you say you checked the timing did you mean Ignition timing or Valve timing? You also mentioned it has spark is it a good bright blue spark or a light white spark? Do you have compression? You mentioned that you have fuel to the injectors but not going threw them. By your last statement about spraying fluid in and still nothing is a little more interesting. I would start at the beginning and check the compression to verify the health of the engine. " Do a Dry and Wet Test" Once this is done and you are certain you have good compression move on to the fuel issue. your injectors are turned on and off by the computer Via a switch either in the distributor or on newer vehicles via the crankshaft and cam shaft sensors. Look at the wiring harnesses around these sensors for any loose connections or faulty wiring. You also did not mention if the check engine light was on and if you had any codes stored if so what are they. knowing the code will point you in the right direction. Your car being a 2000 model will be an OBDII computer based unit and will or should give you a code. has this vehicle been sitting awhile has it been wrecked? Did it stop while you were driving it? Knowing the background of how this started or happened really helps to solve no start problems.

I am having a similar issue. I have a 95 celica st 1.8L manual. It sat for a long time when I bought it. I drive it home no problem. Changed the plugs, plug wires, distributor, distributor, pcv valve, fuel filter, flushed out the radiator. Went to leave one night and it died in my driveway. I checked the fuel pump fuses and relay all good.it is getting spark. When I spray starter fluid in the intake it still does t start. Help.
