Oil pan leak with no oil on the ground?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Mechanic said oil pan was leaking so I had it repaired.  But then I realized that I park in an
assigned spot every day and that I had never seen oil on the ground in that spot.  I asked
the mechanic and they said the oil blows off as I'm driving and that is why I didn't see any
on the ground.  I'm wondering if this makes sense / could be true, or if I was fooled into
paying for an unneeded repair.

Any oil leak so minor that the oil vaporizes as you drive is no oil leak at all. All engines, with few exceptions have a film of oil on them constantly. You should have asked more questions when they sold you the repair, but anyway time for a new mechanic

same problum put oil pan gaskit still oil is comeing out and giting on the alternater belt but not leaking on ground
