Battery light on still?

I have a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier and I just brought the battery up to O’Reillys
they tested it and they said they couldn’t tell if it was good or bad so I got a
new battery and I put it in the car seems to be running fine but my battery
light is on and I’m hoping that it’s not going to shut off on me again what do
you guys think?

Yeah thank you I’m thinking maybe my alternator is junk but the guy said “yeah it’s getting 12 volts so I’m thinking it’s bad” plus it was from 2014 so I went with it since I’m not a mechanic it looked like a lot to take the alternator out so thank you! I’ll get that beast tested again soon
