losing antifreeze but can't find a leak

Asked by Guru9ZV95 Jun 06, 2017 at 11:08 AM about the 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier LS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just realized today that My 05 cavalier has
lost all its antifreeze. Until I figure out the
problem I've been putting water in it.
Anyways I can't seem to find a leak though.
After messing around with it for a while I
discovered when I turned the air on in the
car, the water was going down. Not sure
where to go from there.

Try some anti-leak in the radiator. This is not a permanent fix but it can buy you some time.

"Stop a Leak" is a good brand of anti-leak. Check your system every hour. It is hot. Look at your gauge at all times.
