Car exhaust

After my car has been sitting idle for a couple of days or more, a whiteish or
very light grey exhaust comes out of the tail pipe when I first start it up. But then
disipates and I don't notice it when I'm driving. If I use the car one day and then
again on the next day, I don't notice any exhaust. What might cause this
exhaust when I haven't driven the car for a few days?
