Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I have replaced the whole thing.
I put key in ignition wouldn't turn kind of like
if your steering wheel is stuck will the
steering wheel still wouldn't turn replace the
whole ignition. Ignition switch coil, unlock
warning switch connector . The lock slider
car won't turn over.  Then I take key out
mess with it a little more then it's starts.
Then I turn it off try it again and nothing..

What was the original issue with this vehicle? Why did you replace the "whole thing"? What is the "whole thing"?
