The car is 12 years old and little things are going. But I had a new motor put in a few
years ago and I'm not done with it. What could be causing the discharge...Thank you so
much.

Do you mean your battery light? If that came on most likely your alternator has quit. Your car will eventually die once your battery has been completely drained. If you have a battery charger, charge up your battery to full capacity. Start the car and see if it runs. If so, get it some where so it can be worked on. If you can put a volt meter on it, see if it's putting out at least 14 volts. If not, it's shot.

I have a 2006 Toyota Camery Hybrid, my sister i law was driving it the other day and she said it overheated while driving it, she kept driving till it died, and she continued coasting as far as she could on a mountain road, it was taken to a local gas station and parked, when I got to the car, the radiator cap was blown off , so I tried to refill the coolant , but it leeked out I looked to see ware it was coming from, it seems to be from the water pump, as well I opened the the oil cap, and the oils smells burnt and the color is dark brown? My car was running good until I had someone to change my oil gasket but after that it would start then continue to shut off so I got the fuel filter changed and spark plugs but not the wires 12 Answers

Someone also listened to the fuel pump and they said it sounded good but it will crank up and shut off a couple of seconds later

I can get it to work if I jiggle and squeeze some of the lines/tubes under the hood. Is it the fuel filter? Fuel pump?
