2001 toyota camry, acceleration issues

Asked by Sep 11, 2017 at 05:10 PM about the 2001 Toyota Camry LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I Drive a 2001 toyota camry LE automatic. I start
my car and let it run for 10 or so minutes every
morning, we back out of the driveway, then when I
put the car in drive it takes several seconds to
actually kick into gear and go. During this
hesitation, I can press the gas, and nothing. If
timong is right, it'll "jump" as it kicks in. Sometimes
that is the only time I have the issue, sometimes
it'll happen at every stop. What could be the issue?
Single mom...and I'm semi smart about cars,
YouTube is my friend lol
