My 2001 camry overheated bad i was on freeway tried to get over when finaly
did my car just shut off. I didnt try to restart until it was cool i put water and
finally got it started after a lot of times. But when drove it it has loss of power
now. I know i need to replace the thermastat now but why loss of power
When did this happen? And what kind of power loss did you experience? Was it steering loss only, or the whole car shut off?
My whole.car shut off while i was driving on I-1u. I changed thermastat WAS running real rough turned off now wont start again
Sorry meant I-17
You just have to let your engine block cool down. It may take a while. But the car won't start up because it knows it's super hot and doesn't want to overheat.
