Same problem with my 02 Camry. I Removed and cleaned the throttle body. There was a lot of build up at the butterfly seat that would not allow proper airflow at idle. I had to use a wire brush and throttle body spray to remove all of the heavy build up. Car now runs like new.

Reset the idle. WARM the engine up and once warm turn it off. Then Aturn the key to ON and then back to LOCK. Turn it back to on again and then Start the car. Engage the emergency brake and put the car in drive. Let it idle a few minutes and hopefully it will fix your idle as it did mine. Link below to video where I learned to reset my idle. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_S9B3IhK_Tc
