2000 camry 6v 3.0

So I replaced the alternator and the battery
but now my battery is dead.  What could be
the problem?

parasitic draw . Something is shorted and drawing down the battery if the alternator is still good. A low charged battery can cause a fault in the alternator internal voltage regulator.
