Engine starts and tries to shut down after few meters

Asked by Jun 22, 2017 at 09:00 AM about the 2005 Chevrolet Blazer 4 Door LS 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a peculiar problem with my Chevrolet Trailblazer 2005 imported
from USA to Saudi Arabia.
The vehicle starts well runs a few meters, sometimes even a kilo meter
then starts to shut down, when accelerated starts again and moves few
more meters.
The amazing thing is if I shut down the vehicle myself, remove the keys
and start all over again after few seconds the problem never comes.
I don’t know what is wrong with the first time around and how the same
vehicle works great without any problem when started second time.
Amazingly the problem was reverse 2 months back. It use to work fine first
time around and when I stop and shut down vehicle on my route and start
the vehicle it use to do what it is doing now first time around.
The mechanic cleaned the throttle body and reset the battery. After which
the problem shifted from second time failure to first time failure.
Do anybody know what could be the problem.
