Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a99 Toyota Camry four cylinder that
at times when I try to start it it just ticks and
wants to start. After  a few times if I keep
turning it it will eventually start. but lately it's
been getting worse and worse I don't know if
it's the starter or starter solenoid

Do yourself a favor and replace it with OEM Denso brand. I have never had to replace a Denso starter in 27 years. 1.6 million miles and 8 Toyotas 1 Denso alternator in the same time.
