Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Yesterday I noticed my radio going in and out,
then today my car started running hot then
cooled back down immediately after take off.
Then I turned off my car and had to have a
jump for it to start back up. I had oil changed
Friday and keep scheduled maintenance on my
car. Could it be a bad alternator? Since being
jumped it has started on its own everytime. I
just need some advice please I'm a single
momma and need a good running car!

Where can I get it tested at? Places like autozone or should I just take it to my normal mechanic?

I juse bought my battery in March and it has a 1 year warranty. But having a bad battery wouldn't make my car run hot would it?

As far as vehicle getting hot then cool back down after driving check anti freeze level maybe low and autozone will test your alternator for correct voltage for free.
