I have a 1998 Toyota camry I just had the head gasket fixed now I hear it knocking on the bottom end. how much will it take to fx this and what do you think it is?

are you sure it is from the bottom end. Not sure of your year but the overhead cam shaft drive gear is split and has to be preloaded when putting the cam chain back on. Hopefully that is what you might be hearing if the gear wasn't set right
Usually when you hear a knock on the bottom end you've spun a bearing. Never the less it's a serious thing. Most people would replace the whole motor, You could get it overhauled too. If it's a tick though, It's a less serious thing.
