your car has 1 fuel filter, ading a 2nd is a waist of time best thing to do is if running 87 oct change to 89 oct and put a bottle of fuel injection cleaner in every other fillup.

Unfornately, the quality of fuel these days is not the greatest. However, adding a second fuel filter could negatively affect the performance of your vehicle as well. If you're having a fuel problem I would be changing the fuel filter about every 10k-15k miles. Normally I would only suggest about every 25k-30k, but it sounds like you definitely need it more often. I know it's expensive, but I would also suggest running premium fuel (at least once in every 4-5 fill ups). Using a quality fuel injector cleaner is also key in keeping your fuel system running optimal. Try Lucas or Chevron (with Techron) I've had good luck with them. The cheap brands don't do the job quite as well. Good luck!
