I have a 1993 toyota camry and the car doesn't stay on when I start it..i have to have my foot on the gas pedal for a minute or two in order for it to stay on..after it does the car shakes at stops??

Try changing out your ECT or Engine Coolant Temp sensor. Inexpensive part and easy to change. If that doesn't fix it, my next part would be the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS). If the check engine light is on, I would have the error codes scanned. Try your nearest Autozone. Post back with results...thanks.
