Refilling with two bottles of oil when the engine is bone dry isn't enough, you're still way low on oil. Driving without oil is a fast way to toast an engine. At this point you need to rely on a mechanic's opinion to determine if this engine is in fact toast or worth saving. You may find yourself asking is it worth putting a lot of money into a 25 year old car.
