How can I check or test the down stream and up stream sensors on my Toyota 2002

Asked by cliffsbear Jan 03, 2018 at 10:25 AM about the 2002 Toyota Avalon XLS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have used a catalyst cleaner to correct the insufficient catalyst code 420 and
the code 420 returns after the drive through cycle. I think it may be the
sensors. How can I test them?

More likely You have to replace " Catalytic converter " I try everything in my Subaru. Waste of money ,what they call miracle cleaners want work ( sometimes work with newer cars) 2002..... don't spend money on cleaners. After market cat converter is probably around $200
