how do I reset the csv and check on my 2002 avalon

the csv and check lights came on in my 2002 avalon  The code is p1354.   Can you help
me?

Do you mean CVS? Ignore that for now. The P1354 is VVVi, Variable Valve timing, controlled by oil pressure. I can gather some information but have to go for about an hour. Please check back, unless somebody just goes on with this.

Ok> The P1354 code is, as above, a problem with the VVTi. Variable Valve Timing intelligent) -- and not VVVI above that's a typo--.Not keeping up on oil changes will cause this, NOT saying you have not changer your oil. But even checking it can get contaminates in the might get to cam before passing through filter) as there are VERY small orifices, to the tune of 0.08" that forces motor oil to a shift the camshaft axially so that a higher and 'fatter' lobe keeps the valve open longer and opens it more. Or lift. It's called lift but it'd more a push. jeez, this looks so pretty it's a shame to get oil all over it.
