I have a 2005 Chevy Avalanche and it won't
go over 40 mph and I'm not very good with
trucks. So my question is what could be
wrong with it

Scan it for trouble codes. It may be in reduced power mode because something else is wrong.

I had it scanned and changed over everything that popped up but still not going over 40 mph and nothing else will come up when scanned

And the catalytic converter is clear? And the transmission is shifting OK?
