Is this a good deal?

Asked by Samuel Dec 03, 2018 at 08:49 PM about the 1998 Toyota 4Runner 4 Dr SR5 4WD SUV

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I found a 1998 3.4L manual 4runner with 297k miles for $3,200. The manual transmission and clutch have recently been replaced along with many suspension parts. Is 297k too many mikes for the 3.4L motor? Thanks!

The engine is probably on its last legs. How long do you need this car to last?

Can you afford to lose $3,200 the day after you buy it? Offer Less if you decide to proceed!
