Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1994 4runner 3.0 and I was doing a tune up
and I changed 3 plugs and 3 wires. When I went to
test it, it runs for half a second and dies. There’s
spark to the plugs.

check fuel pressure and see if the injector is firing , if you can add fuel to the throttle see if it will keep running

Re-check gap. Use Dielectric grease on both boot ends to stop arching, make sure wires are not crossed or touching metal or other wires. Make sure the metal pieces inside the boots are in correct position and pushed onto the plug all the way. Do not over tighten plugs but be sure they are fully seated and not loose. Make sure they (wires) did not get put on the wrong plugs.
