Vehicle stalls intermittently, won't start for typically 30 minutes or longer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When the vehicle doesn't start, it cranks, but doesn't turn over, or turns
over and then stalls. When driving, it seems to idle at low RPM and then
can stall when depressing the gas pedal to go from a stopped position (at a
light or stop sign). When it doesn't stall, there is a delay between my
depressing the gas pedal and the car moving. When stopped, I usually put
the vehicle in neutral, it is an automatic, and keep giving it gas to increase
the RPM and then pop it into drive when it's time to move. This is no way to
drive.

The issue was a faulty temperature sensor and the associated code 22 stored in the computer. The faulty temperature sensor was replaced with a new one fixing the problem.
