brake lights and head lights, but no tail lights

May want to check the bulbs. Try with a new bulb moving it around in the bulb socket to make contact. Otherwise you would need to trace the power wire to see where power stops. Could be in the plugins under the vehicle toward the back or bad bulb sockets.
