Warning lights after letting Prius sit for 2 months

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 Toyota Prius. I let my car sit for about 2 months and only started
it once. Over that time, I discovered that my two left tires have a slow leak. I
went to drive it today -- it started just fine -- but got these warning lights: Red
triangle with !, yellow check engine light, yellow brake warning (!) and yellow
VSC. I drove it around the block and brakes feel fine. Is this something I have
to get checked out or does it take a while for the system to reorient?

First, make sure tires are up to correct pressure, check door post sticker for recommended air pressure. Take it to you local auto parts store to check for codes, it's free, unless you have a scanner and do it yourself.

If all those lights are coming on, check the voltage on your 12v battery. If its low it could cause all the lights to come on. If that checks out ok then hybrid battery may be on it's way out.
