I HAVE A 1995 SUZUKI SIDEKICK AUTOMATIC 4X4. I WANT TO TOW IT HOME, ABOUT 1500 MILES. DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING SPECIAL TO TOW IT?

All Automatics run the risk of transmission damage when towed unless they are put up on a trailer, so your guess is right, Drop the drive shaft. hope this helps.
