My thoughts are more on the mechanical side such as forward clutch, internal issue. Hope I am wrong. Did you try cycling between drive/park - Reverse and drive already? Sometimes there is a relearn procedure for TA's Also basic scanners will not always show hidden codes stored and would need a vehicle specific scanner i.e for Chevy or other manufacturer. Some transmissions may need to have the PCM software loaded for transmission calibration files. With all this I assume you properly seated all the solenoids, harness wiring was in good shape/no breaks and the fluid level is at proper level when hot. As a last ditch effort unplug the battery and give it another shot but I still think this is a mechanical problem. Good Luck!
