Will a 15x8 with a 5x4.5 bolt pattern fit a samurai?

I think 5x4.5 is ('90s) Subaru pattern, Samurai s are 5x5.5 just like old army jeeps.

No. the samurai is 5x5.5 not 5x4.5. Beware of the backspacing and the width of the tire that you are running. for instance even though the rim is only 8" wide you could be running 10.5" wide tires no prob.

The pattern is listed as a 5 x 139.7, conversion equals 5 x 5.5", but I asked a wheel dealer if 5.5" works and he said no. Is this BS??
