What does a yellow triangle with a car in the middle of it mean?

When trying to accelerate, the car has gives the sensation of slowing down.  This is a 2006 Chevy Impala SS.

There have been 24 complaints so far on that vehicles transmission.....I have attached a discussion for you to review below.
