2.2 engine dies when idling and when coming to a stop?

when coming to a stop engine dies, not all the time but sometimes also the same when
idling?

Any check engine lights on in the dash? Could be a throttle position sensor, dirty throttle plate (butterfly) dirty air filter, dirty/plugged fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator ect,

If this is happening when you are also stepping on the brake pedal, the brake vacuum booster may be bad.
