Question type: General

Ok, in the 2006 HHR LT, there is a little blue-ish light that is in the front center ceiling of the car, What is that for? And How do I turn it off?

According to the manual, that's the "ambiance light." It's designed to cast a faint light down onto the shifter/console area. Stick a piece of tape over it and you'll notice that area is suddenly pitch dark at night. I've never found a way to turn it off, just got used to it.

You can't turn it off. it is there to show the window switches and consil are when it is dark. It only comes on when the headlights are on. you get used to it after a while.
