why are my running lights and tail lights staying on all of a sudden.

so yesterday my cars running front small side lights and the rear small side light (running
lights) i think. so i can remove the fuse and it directly affects those two lights but why
would they be staying on?

Also, after you've seen the above, please let me know if that is or is not the fix :)

There is a switch on the steering column that turns on the parking lights. Below is a piture of the switch on my 2001 Subaru. If you see the orange the lights are switched on
