I have a 1991 subura loyale wagon 4wd that was running fine with no apparent problem and then this morning would not start.

engine cranks over fine and i can hear the fuel pump. can anyone give me an
idea on where to start.

Check for spark and fuel at the engine.

I checked for spark and fuel and is OK. could it be the crankshaft sensor? I was told that the car will crank but wont start if the sensor is bad.
