What you may be hearing is water running through the heater core. It will sometimes make a gurgling sound when the cooling system is low. The heater core is typically located between the dash and the firewall and it is heard inside the cab of the vehicle. Make sure the coolant is topped off by checking the expansion/overflow tank under the hood. It should be up to the fill line on the tank.
