I have a 2006 Equinox that has started to leak on the driver and passagner floor boards. More on the passagner side. Do I have to take my vehicle to the dealer for repairs or is this something I can do myself? Does anyone have an ideal how the water is getting in my car? Please help. I'm not trying to buy another car right now.

I am having a problem with my 2015 Equinox stalling during takeoff and when going into reverse. And now it’s doing this while driving any time it wants to! And the ‘check engine’ light comes on intermittently. I had AutoZone test the car. Within 5 seconds they had an answer! The trouble was these codes: P0010, P0011 & P0011. In other words, the problem was with the Position Actuator Circuit or Engine Variable Timing Solenoid Intake. Auto Zone has the part at just $43. Questions: Has anybody else had this trouble? 2007 chevy equinox LT AWD overheats at idle, idle is dropping to below 1000 rpms, can put in neutral and get rpms up to 1500 or more and problem goes away, when it does overheat it also says to check engine oil, i have replaced thermostat and flushed radiator, and changed the oil. anyone have any ideas, thinking it is electrical short, or something like that, when on highway i have no problems. 3 Answers

I am looking at buying a new Chevy Equinox AWD. It comes with a 4 cycle engine. I have been driving an Impala for 13 yrs with a V6. I can get a V6 in this Equinox for an extra $1,500. I know a V6 will bring the gas mileage down some. I am torn about whether I should or not. The dealer says the 4 cycle is plenty of motor. I have had a lot of people say get the V6 because the 4 cycle doesn't have enough oomph when trying to accelerate quickly. Im not going to be pulling things or driving in mtns. Just city and highway driving. When I took it out on the highway it might sound different from my car on acceleration but it does seem to have enough power to do that. Please help.
